spacers needed on 1st gen for FJ wheels?

    OME lift, spidertrax, 285 duratracs
    just bought a set of the FJ trail wheels for my first gen and wanted to make sure whether i needed to add spacers or not? ive seen a couple 1st gens with them but no one ever mentioned spacers. sorry if this has been covered but i couldnt find anything after searching

    it will be with a 3" lift and 285s

    alright is a 1" spacer enough to clear or does it need to be 1.5"?

    Hey I am getting TRD Fj wheels on my 97 tacoma...I you 100% sure I'll need to get spacers, or was it simply because he stated he was gonna use 285 tires???
