    I didn't see the flasher relay on the back of the fuse block under my dash. Is there anywhere else it could be or is that the only spot and I was just in too much of a hurry?

    Is this the location in every 2005+ Tacoma?

    Not certain on location.
    You can try removing then press the hazard switch to verify that it's off.
    Are you testing some new LED 3157CKs?

    They work just fine, just need to prevent the hyper-flashing. :)

    Yep, on mine it isn't on the back of the fuse box, and there is no electronic flasher available for the 18 pin model. :(

    Is there an easy way to get to this? How do you go about getting the fuse block out?

    Your truck has DRL. To remove the DRL and install your LED flasher, you need the grey plastic jumper block part# 82671-30360. It's available from the dealer for about $8. Your truck has a 3 way harness that goes to 2 spots on the fusebox and to the flasher on the right side of the fusebox. Remove all that and install the LED flasher and the grey plastic jumper block. This will eliminate your DRL.

    Is there a write up on this with photos? I just got the truck and it has LEDs in everything.
    If my truck has DTRL's, the PO must have disabled them as they don't come on.
    I'm more of a visual learner and really not comfortable messing with electrical. Thanks in advance for any information or help.

    Okay the solution I used was wiring in Restors to each bulb (even tho it’ll use the same power as halogen). I wanted to keep the DRL for the looks.

    They’re pretty easy to instal you just have to link this between the two wires. I did it differently where everything was plug n play but that’s just me.

    If you don't have DRL, the Diode Dynamics Smart Tap flasher is the hot ticket for LED turn signals. That's all I have time for right now.

    @ToxicTwin

    Here's my post from another thread.

    If you do not have DRL, you just remove the necessary stuff to get to the back of the fusebox and then swap out the flasher.

    If you do have DRL, you need to buy the grey plastic jumper block, remove the Y harness and install the Smart Tap flasher and the grey jumper block. Here is a thread that goes into very good detail on how to install DRL. That's not what you want to do, but the disassembly instructions are there.

    Here's the Diode Dynamics Smart Tap flasher. It does a bunch of cool stuff.

    @Muddinfun

    Thank you for the information, I will check it out. I just got the truck so I'm still trying to figure out what the PO has done to it. DTRL don't light up, but I assume it came with them as it's a 2009. I just have to figure out if he disabled them. I don't care about the DTRL, just need to eliminate the turn signal hyper flash.
    I will look through the information you sent.
    Thank you for your help.

    In the 2nd gen Tacos, all of them in Canada had DRL. In the US, some did, some didn't. The only way you're going to know if you're good to go is to pull the fuse box outward and see if you have the grey plastic jumper block. If you have the 3 way harness, and the previous owner disabled the DRL in some weird way, then you need to buy the grey plastic jumper block.
