I've been perusing through the depths of TW for a while now trying to decide which path to take with my truck. I own a 2012 4WD Double Cab and I think I have decided to go either with 2" OEM replacements or do a 3" lift. Of course I have read insane amounts of reviews and such about OME and Billys but I been thinking that I want to try something different... Here is what I am thinking:

    NKR Offroad M2 Kit:

Yes, I am aware that this looks pretty sketch, but for some reason, that mysterious unknown is what is drawing me in! :D

    HammerHead Offroad 3" Coilovers

This one is also unique... Super plain and not insanely cheap, but curious none the less.

I am leaning toward the first one, but I was curious what anyone else was thinking. I will keep updating the thread as I find more "interesting" setups.

I agree with Rock, but it's your money OP. You may be very happy with your choice. OTOH, you know what you're getting if you get an established product.

So rather than buy proven quality gear, you're willing to gamble on Chinese (most likely) components to save 30%?

It's not really about the savings... I just think that it may be an interesting experiment. I mean, somebody has to do it first right?

In the sports car/autox world I saw a lot of kids buy suspensions because 'it's new stuff that looks good'.

Some of the slower learners tried 3-4 combos before moving to a already proven setup.

Enjoyed handing them their tails on the course. Repeatedly.

    Proceed with caution.

What's your baseline of comparison? Are you seasoned with the proven stuff?

When setting up any vehicle, suspension is not an area to cut corners on. Very little can be gained from a cheap copy that has 0 backing and support.

That's an expensive expirament, especially if in 6 months you decide to take that unknown suspension off just to turn around and spend more $$ on a known quality brand. Just my .02

These look like rebranded Bilsteins. Fronts look like the Toytec kit where they put a threaded collar on the Bilstein 5100 to get progressive spring height adjustment instead of 3 discrete positions.
