Hey guys. Just wondering if its at all normal to be getting around 11 MPG city with my 2013 2.7l DCSB. The only things Ive done to it is 3" front coil spacers and 2" rear spacers. Its not like I drive the thing like its fast.... because I know its not... at all. I cannot, for the life of me, understand how those four cylinders are burning as much fuel as my 1973 Dodge pickup with a 360 cubic in V8. Im probably gonna take it in. Im a college kid and I got the 4cyl to be "economical".... lol

    Wow, that's really bad.
The lift should hurt the mileage some, wouldn't think it would be that much.
You might have something else going on, I would also get it looked at.
I am getting just over 17 mpg in the city with my V6.

aires 3D mats, scan gauge II, rear differential breather relocation, and bakflip G2 bed cover.
It's the way you are driving fast starts and stops and driving over 65mph. Drive like there is a rotten egg between your foot and the gas pedal.

You don't have a 4 cylinder, you have a 4.0 liter 6 cylinder... Toyota didn't make a dcsb with a 4 cyl that I've ever heard of. I got about 16 overall in my 07 dcsb on 285s. My brand new one is about 15 so far, but only 1500 miles and I have a bit of a lead foot. I got about 12 on my only real full city tank so far in the new one...

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Well, if you have 30k on it, it's spark plug time.

Whatever you are driving, are you actually calculating and averaging across multiple tanks?

Or are you one of the MPT estimation types?

    Yes they did.

    But it's a 2.7, not a 2.4

Oh yeah my bad its a 2.7.. idk why I said 2.4. But yes Im sure its a 4cyl. But yeah ive tested it over multiple tanks and I really dont drive it hard. But I only have 20k on it so it could possibly be the plugs but I have trouble believing thats the only thing. Could it be the sub/amp?

On a prerunner/4x4 chassis like OP's truck? That's just weird!

    Bingo. That's it.

Yank it out before it explodes, as it's getting saturated with the fuel you are losing.

Smelling gas in the cab, right? Now you know why.
