Hello dear Tacoma owners, I just bought my first truck ever and its a base model v6 acc cab 2 wheel drive 2014 with 9500 on it,,, after driving it home from the lot the Vibration shudder studder was so painful for my neck that i got a head ache,, its as if something is vibrating a very very high speed and almost not detectable, imagine driving on the side of the freeway with those little cut slots on the side to make sure if you fall asleep you will feel them,, imagine driving not feeling the little divets but experiencing the same effect inside the body,, i got a head ache after 20 min driving,, worse going below 40 mph , IM SOOOO BUMMED and freaking out 25 grand down the drain is how i feel about it. i took it in and they adjusted the balance just slightly and still the same feeling, it feels as if my fillings in my teeth will come out. its like a massage vibrater going really fast almost to where you cant feel it but its there..... i looked it up and it sounds like the drivetrain vibration thingy is off, there a few things i can do before jumping off a bridge and selling it taking a huge loss ... sooo bummed im still in shock, just yesterday i bought it..i have to take it back in tomorrow. any thoughts or simalar problems please send me a remedy beside lots of booze...

Need help with more info. If you sit there in park and bring engine rpm up does it vibrate?

If it only vibrates going down the road,at what speed does it start? Does it go away at any speed? Could be bent driveline or bent wheel/Balancing a wheel will not make it go away.
Was the truck ever in a accident?

A lot of If"s until we get more info.

Do you feel the vibration in the steering wheel or throughout the whole truck?

if you just got it off the lot bring it back. For sure there is a grace period or "buyers remorse" that says you can get out of the sale. Then go test drive a different taco. I wouldn't want to start with a problem and have to own it :(

Go back to the stealership and stay there all day until its fixed. When they say its fixed, and you still have a vib problem, get the manager to ride with you. If you still have the vibe, have them keep working on it and get the manager again to test it again and again. Its a pain in the ass but worth it. A lot of times the stealerships look for the easy fix, they don't want to change out the expensive components. Eventually the stealership will either fix it or claim lemon law on it. Sorry man, hope they fix your truck. Keep all your maintenance documents in case you have to claim lemon law.
