A few OE parts from fancy trucks
    '13 base w/OE 15x6 wheels. But even my '98 Sonoma had 15x7!

I'd like to upgrade to a 15x7 or possibly a 16x7 with the correct offset to match the position and steering geometry I have now. So nothing radical, just a bit bigger.

Is there anything out there in the Toyota family that fits the bill?

Are there wheels from other marquees proven to work?

Barring some great looking OE wheel, I kinda like the idea of a steel wheel with a enough of a lip to use trim rings and some dog dish or moon lug covers. Kinda old school hot rod/sleeper muscle. Examples out there?

    TIA!

I'm planning on going with some basset wheels for my next wheel purchase. Steel, you can order width, offset, back spacing, size, everything. They are also hella cheap.

1st2TR, were you able to transfer the stock TPMS sensors from the stock steel wheels to the RAV wheels?

Guys help? I have a 13 crew cab with fenders flares, I found a good deal on a set of American Racing AX186 15x7 -6 offset but the installer is talking me out of it saying this offset will make my wheels seat too far out, like sticking out of fender about 1 1/2", what you guys think of this offset? I have a set of brand new 235/75/15 Michelins so I am sticking with 15"s...

Just pull a wheel off, put one of your proposed wheels on (no tire changing), secure it with 2 lugs.

Put a straightedge on the wheel and see where it comes in relation to your fender line.

That should give you enough of an idea to decide if it's too far out or not. Likely it will be, but it's a free test just to prove it to yourself.

I have Bushwacker fender flares on mine, which I believe are 1.5 inches wider than stock flares. The wheels I have are 15x8 with a 3.75 in backspace and -19mm offset. My wheels and tires barely stick out the side of the flares, maybe half an inch. I don't think your wheels will stick out past the flare -- maybe a little tucked in actually.

Changing rims does not seem to be worth the hassle from what I read.Got to by the rims then the tire pressure monitor system, new lugs and then spacers.Put it all together and then pray you dont get any wobble in the steering wheel. Some say the Kragers fit with no adjustments but theyre as plain as the stock rims IMO and still got to mess with the air pressure system.Would like to get new rims myself just do not trust getting into that mess!
