Anyone have an experience towing with the Icon 1.5" progressive AAL's? My boat about maxes out the towing capacity of the truck. Unsure of the tongue weight, but 4 guys picked the trailer tongue up off the ground once (never let friends hook/unhook your trailer), so 300-400 lbs I'd guess. Flat FL roads and only short distances. Truck is mainly a mall crawler, so I'm not too worried about loss of rear articulation. I'd think any additional leaves into the stock spring pack would only increase the spring rate, but I'm trying to decide if I need a full HD leaf pack in the rear or not.

Icon instructions state to remove the overload spring when adding their AAL but I called them and spoke to Todd. He says you can keep the it to help maintain the stock payload capabilities.

Thanks. I've seen a few guys leave them in, so I'll do that.
