OEM oil filter possible mix up

    I went to the dealership and got an OEM oil filter. I told the guy my make and model and he gave me a 90915-YZZD1.

    I just got done doing an oil change.

    Just to be sure, I look up the information for myself and according to the chart I should have installed part 90915-YZZG1.

    Is this an issue?

    I have 95 Tacoma, 4 cylinder.

    I already put the oil in and installed the new oil filter.

    Please tell me it's not a big deal.

    used to have - 99 2.4L I4 5 lug & 04 prerunner v6
    they update part numbers so its not a big deal that the number is different but I would look up that part number and make sure it fits your year and engine type.

    It's not a big deal.

    According to the the oil filter reference you posted, "The following part numbers are equivalents:... 90915-YZZG1, 08922-02011, 90915-YZZD1, 90915-YZZD1-DS..."
