Watched one, it was on a 1999. Not sure how similar or dissimilar they are.

How many miles are on your truck? I just did mine a few weeks ago. I did the front for the second time and figured with 110K on the truck I might as well do the rear as well at the same time. I bought the shoes at the same time as the new rotors and pads for the front. However, after pulling the drums, I still had approx 50% left on the rear. I went ahead and switched the shoes out anyway. It is a little bit of a puzzle getting them back together, but only do one side at a time and use the other as a guide. If the drums are stuck use two 8 X 1.25 bolts and thread them into the holes on the drums. Tighten them up and they will push the drums right off.

    Have fun!

115k on them. Getting a little squeel in the rear. It just started the other week. May just need to pull the drums and clean and check them.
