Anyone have luck finding a cat-back exhaust for this? I only see them for the v6, and nothing for the reg cab.
I'm replacing the entire exhaust system, header included. The cat-back is the only sticking point...

I was hoping to get one that I didn't have to modify... It's looking like that's the route I have to take.

Actually, that one is for the access cab, short bed. So wouldn't that truck have the same wheelbase as your regular can long bed?

Maybe it will bolt right up. I'd call Magnaflow.

There is no access cab short bed. All of them have the 73.5" bed like the regular cabs and double cab long beds.

No direct fit from Magnaflow, per tech line. I'm not paying $600 for something I have to modify.
    I found a Gibson cat back for $367. It's for 2wd, reg cab: http://www.autoanything.com/exhausts-mufflers/61A3550A0A0.aspx
I wonder what the difference is, if any, to the 4wd. The dealer part catalog doesn't offer 2wd/4x4 versions... Only a wheelbase option.

Got everything installed. Had to shave the mounting bracket for the air injection valve, and the outlet for the header was clocked slightly off, but it all works fine.

It is as loud as the stock system is at high RPMs while at mid throttle with the new system, but with a much better sound. It doesn't sound like a rice rocket either. It's only loud when you get on it, and isn't oppressive at hwy speed. Sounds a bit like a small boat motor at warm idle.

Overall, I'm happy with the results... just wish it didn't cost so damn much!
