    Toyota Tacoma SR5
Hello, my name is Christian and I recently bought my first Toyota Tacoma SR5 1998. I have been interested in these cars for awhile, and I am pumped to finally own one, also the fact it is a 5-speed manual makes it so much better.

I bought the car for $6500 dollars, which is a very fair price for a car that has been maintained the way it has at 180,000 miles. I would rate the exterior 8/10 and then interior a 9/10, this car is clean. After driving it for a few days now I have noticed a few details, the steering is tight, the car does not make any weird noises, and more importantly it feels reliable, but I won't know how clean this car really is until 3-6 months of owning it.

Before I start putting lipstick on this car I plan on doing all the general miantenace before spending more money. I have already changed the oil with my dad and I will go through and change all the other fluids in a couple of days, and then I will be changing the timing belt and water pump and seals (got a killer deal on OEM part kit). Next I plan on checking out the brakes and rotors and deciding if I should replace them or not.

Well, that is the start of my Toyota Tacoma. If you guys got any cool tips or anything you think a new Toyota Tacoma owner will find useful, let me know.

    Thanks, Christian

    Welcome!

Taking the mudflaps off and tinting the rear windows to match the front would make the exterior look way better!

Thanks for the tips on the windshields and the welcomes. I am planning on replacing the cosmetics to make it look cleaner once I finish the maintenance.

    Thanks, Christian
