Hey everyone! I was looking for a thread on riding but couldnt find one.

I dont know who here rides BMX or MTBs but lets see them! Photos of you riding, your bike, or whatever. This is just a place to BS about riding bikes. Talk about parts you like/dislike, parks youve been to that youve loved or sucked, gear you prefer. Or maybe if you have parts youre looking to get rid of or trade, post them on here.
It would be awesome if we could get a grip of people together to meet up and ride some parks or trails.
Ive been wanting to get into MTBing, trying to get out to Duthie hill or some other local parks or trails.

For me Ive been riding BMX for about 12 years on and off. I mainly ride parks and trails from Olympia to Seattle, but ive been down towards Portland and up to Burlington too.

EDIT: This thread is for all the BMXers and MTBers of TW to come and BS and share pictures. In the process of getting this thread moved to Off Topic and removing NW from the title.

Well I'm showing my age here so don't destroy me ok?
The bike I had was a Redline PL-20, with the Stu Thompson V handle bars, Redline flight 401 3 piece cranks. Let me say this I MISS THAT BIKE!!!!!! And yeah I bought it new, and yeah I'm now 43 years old!

That would be awesome! I had an old redline as a kid too. Not my first bike but one of many. Friend of mine just got a PK Ripper and rebuilt the whole thing, it was awesome to ride around the park on.
My first bike ever was a Free Agent Eluder, cheap race bike back when i raced, and it was an awesome bike. Took me every where! Big 44 tooth sprocket and 3 piece cranks. Tiny bars back when that was the cool thing to have.
Now ive got a completely custom bike and i love it! My wife got me a new S&M BTM frame for christmas too:D

Dam PK Ripper I haven't heard that name in years! Holy memories your ring back for me! How about Thruster? Friend of mine had one of those cool bike with the tube in the middle. I built a Puch bike from the frame up. Now I can't remember the rims I put on but they were red mags, not the Mongoose mags that the collectors go crazy for today. Dam I can't remember, that's gonna bother the hell out of me. I never did freestyle but I did go see a freestyle show at a local bike shop. Eddie Fiola I think that was his last name was riding for GT back then. Good times Buddy very good times back then!!

Personally havent heard of Thruster. Oh nice thats pretty cool! Some of the older bikes are bad ass, would love to have one now just to cruise around on. Oh I take it back i had a Schwinn as my first bike. Haha and my brother had a GT. Then i got my FA for racing. Then i left racing for freestyle cause it was a lot more fun and got an Eastern(cant remember the model name) but that thing was a tank! At least 30+ lbs. But i loved it. Only added some Snafu pedals too it, the kind with the huge pegs on them that you dreaded slipping a pedal. Then i bumped up to a Fit for a while and just about 2 years ago started my newest bike build.
Damn i just noticed how much i typed haha. Save the list of parts on my new bike for another post haha!

Alright here's a blast from the past - my bike in the day was a Haro Master, here's from my high school yearbook in 86 I think:

Old school bmx!!!!!! those were the days!!!!!! I had a couple bikes myself. A rare stu thompsen huffy....that actually had a few good name brand components. Such as oakley b1b grips. Also a cycle pro Greg hill edt. I took the quality parts off it such as araya rims, dk stem, landing gear forks, sugino gt 3 piece cranks, mx1000 rear brake and put it all on my gem. A profile champ frame....which I still have today (just the frame).... Long story.
Dream bike woulda been a hutch pro racer.
