1st Gen skid plates fit question

Hey folks -
I've got all kinds of conflicting information on 1st gen skids fit - Opposing advise from different Taco owners.

I hope someone can definitively answer this for me -
Will OEM Toyota skids (front) off a 99 4x4 3.4L manual fit a 2000 4x4 3.4L auto?

I've got an opportunity to pick up some first gen skids (I bought my 2000 used and it had no skid plates), but need to know if they'll fit correctly.

I know - spend the extra $ and buy aftermarket - I don't have the cash and want something, which will be better than nothing until I have some cash loosen up.

You should have no problems. If your worried call the dealer, see if the part numbers are the same truck to truck
