Can attest. I use Mobil 1 in my lawn mower. [IMG]

    Me too.

BIL also ran it in my nieces J/D cars. Little Briggs 5HP blocks putting out right at 30HP. Making them faster than most high end street cars in the 1/8. :D

Been there, done that. I felt a little ridiculous when I did it...but it's the only motor oil I had in the garage.

On my 15 Tacoma, I was planing to use Mobil 1 5W30, but after reading some very good topic information here, I think I'll use Mobil 1 0W30.

    Mobil 1 FTW!
Any 5w-30 SL or later (SM or SN) API approved oil will be fine for the OEM recommended interval changed at appropriate intervals. Make sure the oil has the star burst symbol and you're golden... your engine will last a long long time with regular oil changes (yes, even with dino oil). Make sure to also change the coolant, brake fluid, power steering fluid, ATF or MTF and the front and rear diffs as well as the transfer case oil. I think the most important thing on these trucks is to pressure wash the frame periodically, frame rust is far more likely to take your truck off the road than an engine failure, IMHO. I pressure wash my 07's frame every time i wash it and only have slight surface rust in a few places around a few of the welds. My 07 has less rust than my brothers 2010 and mine is three years older with over twice the miles.
Edit: The 4.0 V6 (1gr-fe) also requires the spark plugs to be replaced at 30,000 mile intervals.
