Well, I only fly on Bombardier's not Boeing, screw those bums. I'll have to knock my house over and make sure the contractor only uses Komatsu equipment and no CAT equipment or Weyerhauser lumber to rebuild it. I can never go inside ANY store, mall, stadium, or theater because they're controlled by Johnson Controls DDC and PLCs. I also have GE appliances so I'm hauling those to the dump soon...

    This sucks.

GM had that $2 billion initial investment to get the Saturn brand going, then proceeded to lose money on it year after year for about ten years. That dragged them down quite a bit I guess.

Toyota IMO is having the same problem with the financial drag of the Scion brand they tried to get going. Huge initial investment, money loser year after year since.

The ford f150 is not in reality, far and away the top selling light duty truck. GM Chevy and GMC, essentially the same truck, together are a very close second. Getting back into mid truck market is apt to have less effect on their more diverse sales then Ford who for years, wanted no in house competition from a new Ranger that was less profitable. IMho, GM believes it's easier to make a smaller truck to reach future mileage requirements, and keep using their push rod motors in their big trucks then spend too much R and D with turbos and aluminum bodies as Ford has done. I feel they are taking the cheaper route. It has less to do with the Tacoma then their mileage requirements on their trucks overall.
