Rustoleum on Sliders

How long will it take to dry to the point where I can load them up in my bed and takem somewhere?

And how many coats do you guys suggest?

 

So I painted them, read the side of the can, and the dam paint still wasnt dry at the given time. In any case, I flipped them over to paint the other side and the opposing side came out retarded as it has marks from the points it was resting on. I got them welded on today cuz I barely have time to take my truck in and today I had some time so I ended up getting them on, retarded paint and all. How do I fix the blemishes? Sand? and repaint? What grit is best?

 

How long do I wait between coats? Do i wait 3/4 days till one of the coats dry before adding the next? And now that Ive got the blemishes in the paint, how do I getem out? Sand and repaint?

 

I completely agree that theyll get fd up as time progresses and thats why Ive completely forgotten about the bottom side. Its the top side thats irritating the crap out of me. Just looks like I did a really shitty paint job, which I did. And I doubt Ill get too many hits on the top side....thanks for the info though. I appreciate it.

 

Mine gets chipped all time, i jus wait til it gets bad, sand away the rust, cover the doors with newspaper and go to town with the krylon anti rust shiz

Here are my sliders, HREW version w/ kickout from 4xInnovations. They did a kick @ss job on them and I lovem. I gotta test them out on the trails but so far so good.













And here are the blemishes Ill be trying to get rid of soon...

 

Nice, I have the same sliders, but DOM, Adam is great! Those blemishes are fine, just brush some bedliner on top and make it a foot hold. Truck looks amazing tho!
