Well let me tell you a story, Pugs.

Buy rigid bar with a lot of real money, use said bar, bar gets fogged and rusts/corrodes the contactors inside the bar.. bar no work no more. Same with D2 & D2S's.. their customer service sucks. I don't fucking know where my receipts are .. just give me a new light so I can repeat the process.

OR

Buy avec / blitzpro, seal them up with silicone and use Loctite on bolts and they end up lasting the same only for a fraction of the price.

But that's none of my business.

What makes you so sure that is the manufacturers fault? It could very well be due to shipping or operator error. Don't jump to conclusions from one post.

 

Yes, I ended up attaching everything. Hooked up the light, harness, and mounted the power and ground. No luck. Unfortunately I do not have a test light. The switch light was on so I know that had power. I could hear the click in the relay turning over when I flicked the switch. Nothing on the light bar. Everything secure and tight. Avec and I are working something out now. Again, great company and great customer service I believe it just may be a malfunction.

 

Depends on how you treat it, I have a 3 year old blitzpro from china that still works like new. I take all my shit a part though and seal it to what I think is the right way. Sometimes they get smashed and cracked and whatnot but it's not avoidable unless you buy the lightbars just for looks.

 

I bought a cheapo 30" Amazon about 7 months ago and it is still working like new with no fog or condensation. Back in February I did about 100 miles of muddy trails and still looks new. Not as bright as AVEC but it is bright enough for my needs.

 

I plan on using it quite a bit, I plan on mounting it inside my Pelfreybilt bumper
