OR, Hello, my name is Aaron, and I'm from Western Illinois. Recently bought my first Tacoma. 2005 TRD Sport, DCSB, automatic. 112,000 miles, and looks like the undercarriage and frame got the "coating". When I test drove it, sounded like it needed shocks, so the dealer replaced them. The tires probably would've last 'til winter, but I didn't want to take a chance, so I put new tires on and an alignment immediately, and wow, what a difference! I've been scouring this forum, and THANK YOU to all of you who take the time to post information and photo's of your work. I have included a few of mine. I just finished installing my ham radio. It's a Kenwood TK-7180 (VHF/45 W), remote mounted. I mounted my ham radio antenna and CB antenna on the cowl on each side. They are mounted with 3/4" (NMO) commercial mounts. This is only the beginning of my upgrades, but hey, I've got to start somewhere! Thanks for looking!
