So my buddy has a fab shop and we fabbed up some brackets that turned out really good! They fit well and everything I'm just wondering how everyone else mounted theirs??? I drilled 4 holes and used 4 3/16 rivets. They feel sturdy but I drove to pheonix this weekend and anything above 65 it catches ALOT of wind resistance at 80 I feel like I should be driving with my arm out the window tied to the bar just incase haha I'm driving home today and everytime I stop to fuel up or whatever I check them and make sure they still feel sturdy and they do but I just want opinions. Should I have bolted them or what??? There mounted on top of the cab underneath the weather stripping

Lets see some pictures of the mounts. Rivets are usually a good way of attaching things, but it all just depends on placement. That being said, how about a comma once in a while.

So you drilled into the roof and riveted them down? Everyone I have seen uses the pre-tapped holes under the weatherstripping and uses mounts like these from Relentless: http://www.relentlessfabrication.us...ius-LED-bar-roof-mounting-brackets/p/35103590

Some make their own mounts too, but since it's already done, I would spray any bare metal you drilled out with some paint just to prevent future rust issues.
