So I finally pulled the trigger on Bilsteins to replace the original 12 year old 160000 mile struts / shocks in the front. But living in VT it has taken a serious toll on my old suspension bolts and nuts. Mostly due to the PO who had never heard of a car wash. There are no threads whatsoever on either side and I'm just wondering what the easiest way to get these rusted turds out of there will be. Torch? Snap them off with a cheater bar? And After things inevitably break, what else am I going to need to complete this job? I assume top hat, bolts, nuts, but not sure if there's anything else. And just a side note, the UCA is fine, just discolored due to 3 coats of fluid film. Thanks in advance :D [IMG]

I used a nut cracker and a dremel to get one of the rear shocks out when I did mine. The nut will cut easily with the right blade on the dremel.
