Has anyone had any experience with the michelin ltx a/t2's? Tirerack has a good deal on them right now. I am going to upgrade to 16's with I think 245/70's they are 29.5in tall so right at 1'' smaller than the 265/75/15's I have on there right now.[IMG] with these rims Picture280_b2de64528fc1217fca87510b6caf653cfa30ebaa.jpg What do yall think??

i have the kelly safari tsr radials. i freakin love them. they are silent on the highway and grip like hell. i have only rotated them twice. and they balance easily. i would recomend them highly for anybody who does alot of road driving and wants a good grip tire.

Sizes for those coopers are pretty limited. I've looked into them a bit. Look nice, but not many sizes.

A.R.E. walk-in canopy, 245/75r17 Bridgestone Dueler Revo 2, pulling an Aliner EASE off-road-capable-trailer into the Pacific Northwest Wilderness
I just swapped out the original Bridgestone Dueler HTs for Dueler Revo 2s.
The OEM size on our TRD Sport was 265 65 r17.
    The upgraded size is 245 75 r17.
(for those running r16 rims? the 245 85 r16 would be same overall size)
The difference is noticeable (the 245s fill the well nicely). And the ride is fantastic.
The original HTs SUCKED in the wet stuff on the Oregon Coast.
These new Revo 2s are a dream!

There is no rub or clearance issues that i've seen even though the 245s are 31.6" verses the original 30.5" . . . as the 245s are an inch narrower. The Revo 2s slice through the water patches like a steak knife verses the old 'butter knife' feel we had on the wider HTs.

And as a bonus; according to our GPS, our speedo is perfectly matched to these new tires.

    Highly recomended.

    Happy Trails,
    Thom

Its just a family mover. We just got it and just got the tires on last week or so. They do ride nice, they are very quiet and they grip great. As for offroad thats a big negative there good buddy. It has never seen dirt as of yet. Thats reserved only for my rig. LOL!

Thanx bro. Im not sure what size tire you can run with 20s. Do you have a lift? Do you off-road? What are you trying to do with your truck? Some body should be able to help you out better.

hey no lift on the truck, any lift recommendations would be good too, like what kits i have to buy etc...i like to go offroading sometimes but mainly on the road, it would be great if they made 1/2 road 1/2 off road type tires yano, i'm sure they're out there but not sure which one to get, any advice would be great!

I looked at these tires as well and glad you picked them up and posted about them. I'm also glad to hear the size you choose didn't effect your speedo either as that was a cause for concern too. For one reason or another, the OEM tire size seems to be a limiting factor when looking at new threads.
