    Hi guys,

New member here but not new to Toyota. One of the things that has driven me crazy about my 2013 Tacoma Pre-runner was the way the audio screen goes so dark when I turn the lights on during the day that I simply couldn't read it.

I found the solution here but it was kind of buried in another thread. I though I'd start another thread on the subject....

So here's the trick....the option ONLY shows up in your display settings when your lights are ON!!! It's easy to find at night but downright impossible to find during the day, since the display goes dim when you turn on your lights.

I hope this thread helps someone as I was helped here!

I did this to my Tacoma and Rav but only problem is sometimes when it's dark out the display is way too bright. If I don't need it I go to APPS-SETUP- and on the bottom is a bar for DISPLAY OFF.
