I have a leak and need some help

    so I noticed what looked like oil on the ground the day after doing some mild off-roading while tacking the pictures the night before in the hills, I was on all fire roads and never pushed the rpms or drifted any corners or non of that jazz..

    any ways here is a picture, its where the cv-joint ties in..
    would it just be a seal or what? I tried searching through the site but came up empty handed and something similar.

    I'm definitely not an expert but when I replaced my CVs it leaked a small amount of gear oil.

    I can't tell 100% from your pic but it looks like the cv axle pulled out of the diff a little. You should be able to grab it and push it back into the differential until it clicks. (There is a small c clip inside)

    They don't just pop out of the clip it's nearly impossible unless the control arms an knuckle get bent. I'd put a new axle seal in it. Also I work on vehicles for a living
