So what exactly does that cause? The inside of the tire to wear faster? I'm not exactly an expert on alignments lol

Quick question for anyone who may have an answer. With a 1.5 AAL or 1.5" block could I use my factory HD bilsteins on my trd offroad? It would only be until I can afford the rear 5100s. How will it affect my ride?

Improper camber will wear your tires out, caster will not. Caster affects how the truck tracks; the more the caster is out of spec, the more the truck will feel like it's floating on the highway. The caster has to be really out of spec though before it's dangerous, and you likely won't experience that at 2.5" of lift, even if you do need uca's.

I'll be the financial voice of reason, and tell you that you don't NEED uca's at 2.5". Like someone said, people's results are hit or miss at 2.5". Some trucks track completely straight and drive like stock, some can't get their caster within spec and need uca's to get it back. Results vary way too much to know if you'll need them or not.
Yes, you can use your factory shocks with either option, and will be fine until you can get extended 5100's. The difference in ride you might experience, is offroad or over speed bumps at speed for example, your suspension travel will be limited in how far the axle will be able to drop before bottoming out.

Sounds like this could tear the shock apart?

I don't think that's a concern. Not to say that it can't happen I suppose, but it would be highly unlikely. I don't think stock springs will drop far enough to allow that, and even if they did, you would have to be doing something pretty violent to the truck for that to happen. You likely won't even notice a difference in ride.

How are yalls CV boot angles? Pics would be much appreciated..I jacked mine up 2.5" with the bottle jack and the fins on the boots closest to the differental were close to, if not touching, could I undo the clamp at the end facing the wheel and maybe slide the boot down some, separating the fins? Didn't pay much attention to weather or not it was an adjustable clamp..

I have 3" of lift factory uca's and shocks. Truck has be this way for over 100,000 miles. Only issues are had both inboard cv boots wore out, and tires wear if not properly rotated on time. That being said I would deff recomend total chaos and some aftermarket shocks. Just my opinion from my personal expirience. Also I would not move the cv boot, plus factory clamps are not a loosen the tighten back up clamp.

It's not the BJ, it's the sleeve for the bushing.

IMO - they probably did fix the sleeve by adding a gusset to it, in fact I think I remember a rep posting about it. Still though, it sits bad with me that they did not do any R&D on the product. They probably threw it together and said 'well it fits, let's sell it' and left as is. They do have a good warranty though, but I would not buy a product just to rely on the warranty.

I have 885x and 5100s set to 0 with 1/4 driver side spacer and stock UCA, I specifically brought it to a good alignment shop and they had no issue to get it back into spec within 15 min....drives great!
