I have a 1998 Toyota Tacoma with excessive body damage and I have access to a 2004 Tacoma that has a nice body. Would a 2004 body fit into a 1998 Frame? Would most of the interior components swap over such as wiring harness's, seats, dash, gauges, Vin number.

Yes, the body will fit on the frame. Most of the interior components will as well. As far as wiring/electrical, I'm not the most knowledgeable on that issue. What's wrong with the 2004 that you can't just use that truck?

The 98 Tacoma has 110,000 miles and the 2004 has almost 300,000. The 98 is in almost perfect condition inside and out, excluding the body.

Why not just swap the motors out? You'd have less of a hassle? Maybe? Unless the 2004 Tacoma has some frame damage or something, then i would swap the frames.

The 98's frame and suspension is in much better condition than the 2004. Oh and they are both V6 models so idk if that would make the wiring any easier.

because a 98 and 04 are second gens....

either way it should swap out just fine (so long as they are both same access cab styles)
