How much weight can the cargo rails hold?

    Just curious. I am going to be putting together a truck rack and I was considering using the stock tracks. I'd have 3 mounting points per side, max load would be around 600lbs.

    With three mounting points per side, the load should be evenly distributed enough to carry that amount of weight.

    If I were fabricating my own, I'd use heavy unistrut and know it will take higher loads should you ever have the need to.

    Try to locate your three support points near the screws that hold the rail in place.

    Don't know about 600lbs but I was running a set of KB Voodoo's rails and they held 100lbs easy. I'm moving to a mid mount bed rack for the RTT so I'm not running them anymore but they are a quality product should you need something like that.
