I have a Toytec 2.5" lift kit on my 2013 Tacoma and I need to replace the rear shocks, can anyone point me in the direction of some decently priced shocks that have a smooth ride?

You aren't going to find any shocks that will help smooth out your rough ride with the blocks you have for lift. But you can find longer shocks. If you aren't looking expensive (judging by your lift), then bilstein 5100 rears would work for you.

Bilstein 5100's ride pretty nice and are reasonably priced. But if you have a block in the rear pack it's still going to be rough. How is the rear lifted?

Take a picture of the front and rear lift for us so we know exactly what you have first off. Is it blocks? Is it an actual leaf pack? Add a leaf? Need to know a few more details really. But I am guessing it is a block.

If you don't like the way it drives, save some money and purchase a different lift. What would your budget be? What do you want to do with the truck? Have you figured out your other engine problems before you spend any money on the lift?

I have these on my '12 Probably the best bang for the buck if you're looking to improve your ride quality instead of blocks

There isn't anything that will help your rough ride with that. The shocks are good for what you have. The only option you have remaining is changing the rear AAL for a full leaf pack.

Look up Dakar leaf pack. I think they run 400 for a set? Not sure. I am running a different lift that nets me ~2" of lift.

If you call, they get you a better deal. He's military, so they'll cut him a deal on shipping as well. Plus, he might want to order more than one thing. I was killing 2 birds with one stone.

Plus, with your lift kit, you already have the 5100's in the rear.

For the record blocks don't make for a ruff ride, that's just misinformation right there. They simply raise the packs up off of the axle which doesn't affect the spring rate of the packs at all. Now they might ware them out quicker which in turn could flatten the initial leafs out over the overload which could stiffen things up, but they would have to be pretty worn out to do this.

Oh and adding Dakars for someone complaining about a stiff ride in the rear would just make things worse don't you think.

    Just saying
