Well I got my first ding on the 2015. Not sure how it happened. I let my wife take it Saturday to keep some of the miles off our 2011 4Runner. I noticed Monday there was a small yellow spot (thumbnail size). When I tried to wipe it off it didn't budge. I was able to wipe it away with a little soap and sponge work. I noticed today that there is a tiny crease at the spot. I have OEM step bars so it must have been a strike from something other than a door strike. She did not have anything from the road fly up and she parks away from others when possible. Who knows what hit it and it doesn't matter..damage done as they say. It is very shallow and only noticeable if the light hits it just right (to dark to take a picture). If it was located any other place than my driver side front door, I would not pay much attention. I know for the next months its going to annoy me given how new the truck is. I did some research on the net and searches on this forum about PDR. Some say that it doesn't work very well for a "crease" style ding. This one is so minor, not sure if they would have much to work with. I plan to look locally at my options to get some feedback from those that offer PDR. Anyone have it done on a very tiny ding with decent results? Thanks....

Yep, PDR is like magic. I'm unable to tell where the dent was after PDR.

Had a guy come to my house and do PDR on my wife's acura. It came our perfect. Can't tell there was ever a ding in the door. It only cost us $75.

I also had a great experience with PDR. I had a pretty big dent in my fender, maybe a foot long. PDR got about 97.3% of it out. Can't notice unless you are very close and looking hard.

PDR was $150. The auto body shop quoted me $3000 as they would have to respray the side of my truck and canopy.

Thanks for the quick replies guys. I'll see what my options are locally. Some have suggested asking the local dealerships who they use for their lot dent work. I'll swing by the Toyota dealership this week to see if they can recommend a service.

Bummer is that I have a 98 Tacoma that I managed to keep most of the body clean. One road rash ding in all those years. I guess the new truck syndrome will eventually subside. Appreciate the feedback. G'night....:D
