Hello all, I just purchased my first Tacoma and have a few questions. I am new to everything off road so bare with me and I apologize in advance, I'm sure I will ask some stupid questions. This is also my first time using any kind of forum. I bought an '06 Tacoma, 4x4, V6, 4.0. I am just going to attach a couple pictures (if I can figure it out) and ask questions later.

    Thanks for the Welcome!

I am curious where I can find the specs for my truck, or the package it has. I bought it from a Toyota Dealership but the truck was traded in with no manual and it was de-badged by the previous owner.

What I know: 4x4, V6, 4.0, I believe TRD, it has a plug in the bed, locking rear differentials, and electric tow brake thing.

I want to install a lift kit and level it out, but the previous owner put an extra leaf spring in the back to tow. Would it be smarter to leave the leaf and just add the lift or remove the spring then add the lift? I feel like the spring makes it a stiffer ride, but I could be wrong.

    Thanks ahead of time!
