2003 2WD Front Lower Control Arm Question

    Chrome Bumpers F&R, Grille & Corner Lights, Wheel Skins, Red/Clear LED taillights, Remote start, PDL, Cruise, K&N, All Kenwood, DNX-5120 6.1" NAV/TRAFFIC/DTV/DVD/XM/BLUETOOTH/USB/IPOD/SUB/rear cam, Tint, Air Band radio, Class 3 Hitch with 4/7 pin harness, Transmission Cooler, Red Top Battery, "Deck Plate" mod.
    I was feeling a little shake in the front end over the past few days that has gotten worse. I finally got under there today and looked and the Right front shock was hanging out.:eek:

    I guess I have two questions,

    What do you do when the shock mount cracks and the shock falls through?

    and

    Do they replace the LCA in the Frame swap on a 2wd?

    And yes, I have not been logged in since June of 2012, sorry, I got busy for a bit. :(

    Some pics would probably help here. My though is that you don't have much chance of getting a frame swap, if you haven't already gotten one. That being said, you can always just replace your LCA... it's easy to do. If you'd rather save some cash, you can probably weld your stock LCA back together. Just be sure to plate/reinforce a wider area than the break.
