    Hello I just bought a,98 tacoma and the Fram is rusted out what can I do to get it fixed,I have called toyota direct they said too late ,but should I just go to dealership

    I'm in the same boat! I have had an 03 for a few years and bought an 04. The previous owner didn't have it sprayed in time so Joe the frame is rusted out and Toyota will not replace it! I spoke with a Toyota case manager and he told me that the previous owner should have got it sprayed, but since he didn't, I can't have it replaced! The deadline to have these frames sprayed was back in 2011 I believe! I'm currently thinking of useing 6x3 rectangle tubing and creating 3/4 or the frame new! From just ahead or the doors to the rear bumper! If I do, I will post pictures and a how to! Hope this helped. Sorry about the frame
