    Hey Everyone.
I've been searching around for the last couple days and haven't been able to figure out what is going on.

...so I have a 2007 TRD Sport. The truck was originally a Canadian truck that was brought down here...not sure if this has anything to do with my problem or not. So my regular incandescent DRL bulbs melted and cracked their lenses. Long story short Toyota wouldn't replace them (despite the warranty supplement) because I had done a BHLM. So...I bought new OEM lights and put LED bulbs in everything (driving lights, H4's, and DRL/turn signals). I also bought new sockets for the DRL's and driving lights. I put in the 50Watt 6Ohm resistors on the DRL wires; one end on the positive and the other on the ground wire and I do not ever get a hyperflash. I am not running LED rear turn signals, they are the regular incandescent.

So here is what is happening...When first walking out to the truck to unlock the fronts usually flash like normal. When the truck is running at first they work normal (Yes, I know that when the headlights are on the DRL's turn off for my year. And yes, I know that they turn off when the parking brake is on) However, after the truck has been running for a short time one or both of them will turn off and stop working (both DRL and turn signal). They will intermittently come back on and off again while driving. When I park the truck and lock they will usually not be working. After just leaving the truck for awhile I'll come back and they will be working again and repeat the same scenario. This never happened with the regular incandescent, bulbs...and I would just go back to incandescent, but don't want to melt the new headlights I just bought!

The only thing I can think of is a loose connection in the wire somewhere that seems to be affected by movement or the truck heating up?

Anyone have any insight or recommendations?

    Thanks,
    Dave
