    Some really cool shit
I'm interested. The factory tank skid looks less than flimsy.

Well, it looks like everyone will be receiving their skids today, unless you're in Canada. :D

    Install instructions:

    1. Support your gas tank with a floor jack. You'll want to use a 2x4 or something to spread the load over the tank. Don't just rely on the foot of the jack to hold it up.
    2. There are two pins holding the gas tank straps on the passenger side of the tank. Remove them one at a time and slip the flat hook over the top of the strap and reinstall the pins.
    3. Remove the rear strap bolt on the driver side and bolt in the anchor bracket.
    4. Hold off on attaching the front driver side anchor bracket for now.
    5. Position the skid under the truck. The "Trail Toys" logo should be facing down.
    6. Place the two supplied bolts and fender washers in the cross member in front of the gas tank and loosely attach the front of the skid.
    7. Attach the three cam buckle straps. There will be excess strap material that you will have to trim once all straps are tight. Leave enough excess so that you can adjust the straps later on.
    8. The thinner strap and plastic buckle will the be last strap to be attached. You'll want to thread the strap through the buckle, then the anchor. It's easier to thread it through and then bolt the anchor to the strap.
    9. Make sure to place all buckles as high up as possible to avoid any interference issues.
    10. Tighten all straps
    11. Tighten the front bolts
    12. You're done.

If you guys have any questions please let me know.

    Thanks

    Nathan

I would have sent a PM, but I can't attach pictures to it. The bag got ripped open during shipping, I just wanted to be sure nothing fell out. Does it look like I'm missing anything?

installed it an hour ago, only difficult part for me was aligning the pins to go back in. Other than that easy and straight forward. On the plastic buckle tho i did add a long ziptie just in case it came loose.

Glad to hear the install went smooth. Those pins can be a pain though.

Loosening the bolt at the other end of the strap made the pin slide right in. Also, I didn't need to remove the pin at the rear.

I cheated and bent the tabs on the rear pin. Did you do the same, or did it just fit?

Just a little update on the instructions. The plastic buckle was swapped out for the cam buckle due to the cam buckle sticking down below the skid. Use the plastic buckle for the forward driver side attachment point.

Bummer. I just checked your tracking number and it was out for delivery Saturday. Gotta love USPS. I'm sure it will show up today though.
