You mean the DIY kits come in either foam density ?

Ya, if you order them in. It might be different then whats on the shelf at the store but there are a few different places you can get the foam from. They'll have most options available for you, my guess is they change the catalyst to change the density.

I think the water/vapor barrier comes from the closed cell/open cell formula. The open isnt water proof no matter the density or thickness, the closed is at 1" thick.

Here's some more on the basement. I got alot more than this done I just haven't taken anymore pics though. Will post the newest tomorrow. I have all the framing done, electrical done and the insulation done too. Starting the drywall tomorrow.
Yes I am doing drywall for the ceilings and yes in fact I did draw an outline of everything between the floor and the ceiling lol. Trust me I have to much money in this to not do something as not draw out where everything is at.

Take pictures of everything , I do this on all my jobs and it's amazing how many times I've gone back to reference them even years later

Do you not have a substantial water intrusion through the concrete in the last picture ?

Yeah I know what you mean. Even now I can leave the house after working on it and be in town and take a look at the pics even tho I just seen the real thing lol. Hey, im just proud of it I guess bc this is my biggest project like this. I've done others like this but not my own.

Around here, any framing member that is in contact with concrete must be pressure treated. It appears your shoe plate is just a KD 2x4.

You can do conventional lumber on concrete if you use a sill gasket at least that's how it is here

Ya, brought that up earlier. I don't know if the gasket is code here, I've never seen them used anywhere except on the perimeter framing. Pine on concrete is a bad idea at the least, even if you're in a dry area. I live in "high desert" and I can still go snap some pics of rotted framing any time I want. Literally, one of my rental houses had an addition done that way so I have 24/7 access  That entire addition is being taken to the ground, construction quality sucks and I'll be happier when it's gone.

Putting a piece of treated down first makes framing go about 10x faster as well.

Using non treated on a gasket is perfectly fine and no slower

It's not the material of the sill material that makes it go faster, having a 2x4 on the ground and lifting a wall onto it is a lot faster than framing to the sill material itself. You can frame a wall and set it in about 2 minutes. I did it the other way for ages until I talked to a guy who did it this way. Tons better. The only time I haven't done any wall, on concrete or not, this way is when there's not enough floor space to frame the wall.
