Yep , there is the old " harsh ride " TSB where they swapped out the old US stock 2+1 packs for the " TSB " ( Canadian stock ) 3+1 packs , and there is this new recall that they haven't announced a solution for although their solution on the assembly line for the late 2011 and up trucks was to add a retainer clip so my money is on eveyone including in this latest recall will get a retainer clip added

The TSB was covered under the bumper to bumper warranty , a recall isn't effected by mileage but in these threads everybody keeps combining the two discussions / remedies

We don't know what they are going to do with this latest recall. It could be new leafs, it could be a retaining clip, anything really they deem sufficient to keep the vehicle safe(r).

Sorry buddy, I was just reading all of them and didn't catch that there was 2. I will probably just work with the deal that sold me the car and have them do all the leg work for me. Thanks again

I just purchased and paid for full dakars to be installed! And now I'm seeing this recall...dealer mentioned nothing to me about it.....think they will come me the $ they charged me for the Dakar install if my truck qualifies?

You would rather have a free leaf pack retainer clip than Dakars ?

Talked to the dealership that I bought my truck from and he was saying they might not fix the issue unless it's broken.. to me that doesn't make any sense. If it's a recall wouldn't they fix it no matter what?

They will do something on the recall as the recall is to prevent a broken spring from puncturing the fuel tank.

It may just be a retainer clip however.

This recall is taking forever. I hate how my truck is riding right now. My leafs are serving no purpose anymore. I bottom out going over the littlest bumps.
