My name is chris! In the next couple weeks i will be building my 02' Toyota Tacoma Prerunner Dblcb, with 204K:). Wouldnt know by looking at it;). So ive owned the truck for about a year now and I love it, and its offroad capabilities for being stock. I wanted to give it a little face lift to do a lil more aggresive offroad. Its bone stock with 265/70/16 general grabber At2 http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=319322&stc=1&d=1427237779 old pic
So before I did much research I went ahead and bought a 2 inch spacer lift, with 2 inch block lift, 1.5 inch wheel spacers, and new strut assembly from Ebay....... yes now I know it was a big mistake. So as the part were on there way i started doing more research on tacoworld and relized I made a big mistake.

After I found out I Cheaped out and f##### up, I went ahead and tried to see the setups people were running. To try and achieve the look I wanted.
I decided to do it the right way, and break open that wallet.

So i went ahead and ordered....
Bilstein 5100s all the way around
    Toytec add a leaf
    Spidertrax 1.25 Wheel spacers
    Pulse P40 16X8 alloy wheels

I found new front heavy duty coils for 10$ on craigslist, couldnt affoard eibachs after all of that. thatll be down the road.

I want to thank this forum for helping me make the right decision and helping me build my taco! I will keep you guys informed on the build every other day with pics!

For only having 265 70 16s with 8 wide inch rims. What do you guys suggest setting the front at. 2 inchs or 2.5 inchs. The rear is 2inch toyotec add a leaf

    Update
So all the parts came in and I put the wheel setup on with out lift and, with out wheel spacers. Just for a reference only. To me it looks like it will be to wide with the wheel spacers. I think it looks good enough with out them. What do you all think? They are 16x8 with a -6mm offset.

Looks like it's coming along nicely!

Looks like your backspacing is about 4.2'' so you should be alright without the spidertrax.

Can't wait to see some pics after the lift.

Ya I decided until I get some 285s on I'll stick with no spacers. I invested that money into some coils instead. Eibachs:cool:

But anyway, I fully installed the toytec add a Leaf, torqued everything to specs, and blue locktite. Installed by rear 5100s. Also finished my rear undecoating.

How do you guys feel about extended rear brake Lines? Cause wen I let my truck settle on full weight, I noticed the line isn't far from being fully extended. Im an avid offroader. Is it recommended? If so what kind are you guys running?

Eibachs will be here Thursday. So hopefully I will have the truck finished by Saturday. I'll keep you posted!!

Yep, they're up. Looks good. As far as the extended lines go, I'd get them. Rather have more than needed than not having enough, especially with brakes.

So after a couple hard days of the installation. It's finally finished! :D20150404_182814_zpsnog7fvwy_ac577836084b8f615e0e61951b4be5d62fabea18.jpg 20150404_182728_zpsazp2lir8_3b7240be09f38e375e295c006bcc090aa61ed62c.jpg 20150404_170641_zps8y52vx2b_bca717329f48bc174b17e4e25abac3e302ec805f.jpg 20150403_173302_zps6cjw1fxu_2b49304af860d9f115c87f7fca8aa15d6ff7355c.jpg
