    My friend bought a sidekick. He loves those things. Questions are as follows.

    If he is just going to tow it to a trail, what plates does he need?

    If its only for designated trail use, what insurance is necessary?

    Were calling tomorrow, but just wanted a heads up. Thanks fellas.

    Flat towing or on a trailer? On a trailer he should be covered under his regular insurance. Flat towing puts the vehicle on the road and changes things. Pretty easy to call his insurance co.

    Ya, insurance co. Is close Easter Monday. We were just wondering.

    He mentioned flat towing it. I don't think he has a trailer for it

    The other option is a tow dolly. From what I have read you need a trailer or tow dolly, or, if flat towing you need a proper tow bar plus safety chains and lights. At least from MTO's perspective.
