New Member: 1996 Green

Hello all. Picked up my dream truck (most think I'm kidding) in June of 2013. Almost 2 years and 60,000 miles later this is how it sits.

Not sure Ive done enough to justify a "build" thread but here are some pictures along the way.

Topper #1 - terrible craigslist purchase

Topper #2 - better craigslist purchase but was made for reg cab so the gap bothered me to the point where I decided to get rid of it

Topper #3 - decided to get a new A.R.E V-Series and put a yakima rack from craigslist up top

Camping Platform

Built a platform for camping. Took ideas from a bunch I had seen. Built it low and around the wheel wells because topper is cab height. Pretty basic but serves its purpose.

Crossed 200k mile mark on the way

Had always wanted to find a set of 4 stock spare wheels and was finally able to at a junk yard. Got them powder coated and swapped them out. Like the look but I am tempted to go back to the stock wheels.

Seat and center console swap.

Had always wanted a center console. Tennis ball getting stuck between seat and door helped accelerate that process. Found bucket seats on craigslist same day and a console a junkyard about a week later.

Console - had to remove some stickers but bolted right in to factory drilled holes under carpet.
