Hey guys! I just bought a brand new 2015 Tacoma 2wd prerunner TRD sport double cab in Barcelona red. I want a 3 inch lift what do you guys reccomend? I won't be doing much off road in it I mostly want it for the aggressive look. I was looking at the 3 inch pro comp lift from 4 wheel parts what do you guys think of it and how much does 4 wheel parts charge for installation?
    Thanks
any info or suggestions will help.

Stay under 2.5" or it will cost you. I would say bilstien 5100s all around, 884 springs, and progressive add a leaf. should give 2-2.5" and you can run a 33" tire for looks. or set the 5100s at max and block the rear.

Eh. I'd get Maxtrac spindles if I wanted 3" and be happy to get 4" instead. Otherwise OME.

2.5" to 3" isn't a big deal. Guys have the same issues at 2.5 as at 3 in some cases.

OP just do it right and get whatever fits your budget. 5100's, OME, or something more expensive will all work. If you do go all the way to 3" I heavily recommend getting new UCA's and reading about the Ecgs bushing for the front differential since you may have to do both of those mods, even if you only go 2.5" of lift.

Good post. This is the norm or at least some variation whether it be Eibach springs, OME or another. Many companies offer a package deal with an add a leaf for the rear. Spend the extra few dollars and buy the aal for the rear and avoid the block.
I would personally contact Toytec or DownSouth Motorsports for help.
Although even 285/75/17 will rub so be prepared to trim the fenders and flatten a pinch weld :).

Congrats and the best of luck.
