First Time poster-getting desperate. 1999 3.4 Auto Tacoma 100K miles. Engine runs perfect below 2200 RPM. Above that engine sputters has a intake miss and no acceleration-doesn't stall. No CEL, no stored codes. I did alot of guessing, new plugs, fuel filter, TPS, Throttle Module, Ignitor, Coil packs/wires, EGR valve, MAF, ECU, verified the cam/crank timing, block checked for blown head gaskets, pressure checked the fuel pump, removed the CAT and ran unrestricted. Installed a Snap-On scanner and verified 3 coil pack misfiring when engine is running above 2200 RPM. About to put up the white flag and take into the Toyota Dealer. Looking for any suggestions-troubleshooting before i do.....help?
