    I have a 2001 STD Cab Tacoma 4x4 2.7L 5SPD 123K miles.

Recently the 5 SPD has been getting harder to shift, up & down. And as of more recently, the clutch has been dragging the truck along when I come to a stop with the clutch depressed. I bled the slave cylinder last fall when replacing clutch line (neighbor's dog ate it!). I should have flushed all the fluid then but didn't, it is dirty dispite adding a lot of new fluid. I have no other history on tranny/clutch/flywheel since I bought the truck 1 yr ago.

Shifting issue could be the shifter bushing. Pull the shifter and check the condition of the bushing in the trans. The bushing breaks apart and causes hard shifting.

I had clutch shifting issue, kept getting worse and I ended up replacing Master clutch cyl . Sounds like what I was seeing when mine was going out. The slave was fine.
