I know this does not go onto a Tacoma but I'm hoping to tap into the collective knowllage base. I'm look into getting a rearview camera for my wife's Prius.
I found this part but can't figure out what item 3 is. Can you?

$450 is way too much for a back up camera, that isn't installed! Call or visit your local dealership with the part # and ask what item 3 is. Pretty sure its the "adapter/converter" that lets the screen show what the camera is sending it.
