I was wondering if a 1996 Toyota Tacoma automatic engine will interchange with a 96 Toyota Tacoma manual shift ?

Should go right in...the manual transmission has a pilot bearing pressed into end of crankshaft and the automatic does not.

Donahoe CO's, Deaver leaf paks, Lockright Locker, All Pro body armor ( sliders, front and rear bumpers ), All Pro under belly skids, Warn M8K w/Masterpull synthetic line, Dual Optima battery system, 4 ea LightForce Striker 170 offroad lights, 8 ea wired rock lights, and plenty more I'm sure
    besides the auto tranny (mechanical)
you'll possibly need change the ECU as well.

    I may have read wrong...
but thought I read that someone else whom swapped from auto
to manual needed to utilize the ECU from an auto equipped donor rig.
