I have a 2003 tacoma double cab v6 4wd. The past few months I have noticed something weird. To explain what occurs with my truck is that every time I slow down to turn on a another road, I hit the gas pedal and the truck jumps about 500 rpms then catches and goes on it's way. If I'm in stop and go traffic as I'm slowing down under 15 mph then hit the accelerator to keep up it "hesitates" and reacts to the same way when I'm slowing and turning on to a street.

Other than that at normal driving it shifts good and no problems. My truck has 105,000 miles and obviously could be the age.

Also, I did drive the highway today which I very rarely do but going up a hill I had to give it some gas and it down shifted decently hard. (This normal?)

I checked the fluid while running and changing gears and what not, the level is fine and the fluid is good, it's red and not burnt. What could these issues be? Torque converter? Bad solonoid? Computer? Throttle body sensor? Lol I got no idea and don't want to be charged out the ass if it's something little.

I hope it's just me being paranoid. I love this truck I have ome lift and 285's going on. Id hate to see something bad happen.

    Please help! Thanks
