My brother and I had some time off at the same time so we decided to hit a bunch of major spots in Utah.

Had a visitor come to our campsite in the morning

    Bryce Canyon National Park
    [IMG]

    Zion National Park (Angels Landing)

Lake Blanche Trail and Sundial Peak
    [IMG]

After that I met up with zscott and got my new Prinsu Designs roof rack with integrated 40" Light bar installed. We drove back into Moab that night and I was sure thankful for that light bar. It made driving the trail to the campsite much easier.

This was taken the morning after the install along Gemini Bridges Rd.

We went up Sand Flats Rd. to Castle Valley Overlook
    [IMG]

Onion Creek Trail. We ran the trail at around 5pm and the lighting was perfect and made for some pretty cool pics.

    Fisher Towers
    [IMG]

Then these last few were not actually in Utah but instead in Colorado. We wanted to go up Pikes Peak but the last 3 miles of road were blocked off due to snow. So we went up as far as we could.

Nice! We were out there last October and hit several of those places too. But we didn't drive all the way from CT! Holy cow. And you even got a mod in. Nice job on saving shipping costs. LOL.

Thanks for sharing! Making me want to take my truck back out to Utah. I must say, a few of them were magazine worthy! Great looking truck, looks like your brother and you had a great time!

I think I could sepnd a week around Capitol Reef and the Waterpocket Fold and Boulder Mountain alone. Fall would be good for the Aspens. As it was we only had two days in that area and did Burr Trail out and back, then Cathedral Valley fast the next day before heading all the way across to Deadhorse/Canyonlands that night. Too much driving, not enough chilling and hiking too.

Hey brother, I'm planning a trip to Utah later this year and I'm curious, how many nights did you camp out in the wilderness? Were you out there for like two weeks or did you hit up most of those spots in a few days?

Incredible trip, awesome photos, very inspiring. I'm planning on doing a very similar trip roughly a year from now. I'm thinking of Zion, Bryce Canyon, Capital Reef, Canyonlands and Arches. With that I want to make sure my Taco is built up enough to easily handle the trek. With that is your Tacoma TRD Pro stock or did you swap out to bigger tires? If so did you go with 33" and do you think they were needed/critical to the trip?

Naoh, everything I did could be done with a stock truck and I'd venture to say even without using 4wd. That being said my truck isn't stock. I have a full set of steel skids and rock sliders. I checked them both after my trip and I didn't see any evidence of them getting scrapped up by rocks. I hoped that helps, good luck on your trip I'm sure you'll love it.

Has Toyota contacted you yet to use your pics in the TRD Pro brochure? Those are some epic shots. I especially like the river shots. Great job!
