    Thank you sir!

The PRS feels like butter in my hand, and I love the tone of those P90's!

I'm terrible on multiple instruments, but I have fun and it brings me joy.

I got an expensive Schecter Solo 6 guitar, a nice "Black Beauty" Epiphone. A broken cheap Epiphone. And a free acoustic Epiphone. All the electrics play on a small/medium sized Line 6 amp, or on a Marshall half stack.

I wish I could take pictures but I'm in the middle of moving so all of it is in storage.
:bananadead: One day though. One day.

I can play a little guitar and a little drums. I've been alternating Sundays with another guy at church playing and I've been playing mostly a 4-4 beat and I'm needing some help on the slower songs that we sing from time to time. Also, do cymbals go bad? I feel like the cymbal that I use the most has a dull sound to it.

Cymbals won't got bad just from normal playing. They do crack and that is very noticeable.
When they get dirty from normal play they will start to change in timbre.

Ok Thanks I'm sure they haven't been cleaned in a while or if ever I don't know. What do you use to clean them with? I'm assuming just go to a music shop and they will have it.

There is a specific cymbal cleaner made for such thing. Music shop would have it. It is kinda like a paste with a slight abrasive to get the shine back. It does work, but it is messy. I would imagine that depending on how much time you want to put into the polishing part you could probably get them back to an "off the line" shine. And I would think the sound close to what you heard when you got them.

I play guitar (poorly) and other instruments (even worse) lol. I fell into teaching in an after school rock band program and it's really fun. Here's my little studio and two of my "hotrods." I have about $400 into each one and I'd put them up against any guitar in their style (not that there aren't other great guitars out there that happen to cost more - just personal preference I guess lol).

I finally got around to installing a bourn's low friction pot in the volume position on the brown one. Time to work on some volume swells ala Van Halen :) Disclaimer: Cannot play like VH (seriously lol)

I have a Jasmine made by Takamine acoustic/electric guitar and I'm havin trouble with it playing through my amp. I've put another 9V battery in it that I had at the house a while back and it still didn't play. I got it out last night gonna try to see if I could figure out what was wrong with it. I couldn't find a 9V battery at home so I'm gonna get one of those today to see. I took the amp cord plug at the bottom of the guitar out last night to see if a wire has come loose but everything seemed fine. I looked at the two wires going to the EQ and one is labeled pickup and the other I forgot going off memory. Both feel tight. I'm not sure what else to check and how to check the rest of the guitar through the sound hole. Any guidance or help would be appreciated. The power light on the EQ comes on the last time I put a 9V in btw. Not sure how good of 9V it was but I will try a new one first. In the meantime, what else do I need to look for if the new battery doesn't help

New battery. New instrument cable. Check output jack. Check rest of wiring. Sounds like you did all those things? And your amp works with other guitars and the same instrument cable?

Did the guitar ever work through your amp before?

Yes, I've played this particular guitar with my amp. I will try my other electric guitar with instrument cable when I get home.
