    again would you mind pointing them out? and just to be clear, THESE are the lights in question. because i can't find them for cheaper than 250, and if i could find them for 180, i'd snatch two sets in a heartbeat.

    Ah, well i had a set of those already and they were nice, but i sold them attached to my Jeep. California state trooper would likely have a problem with a spot beams. They use any excuse to get money from you. I'll be sticking with DOT legal ones. Thanks for the info.

    Thats Commifornia though... Washington is much better (still bad but not nearly as bad). I have ones that are like those and have them on all the time, followed/passed many cops before and they don't even look at you (knock on wood..)

    Shit i lived in California for 20 years and never got one ticket(and i drove WAY worse and faster than in WA) and literally 2 months after moving to WA i got my first ticket for 5 OVER!! and then i got another driving back from a road trip to CA in Oregon for 10 over.
    But on lights..i havent had any issues in either state haha.

    Fair enough, i guess the cop who pulled me over in oregon for running fog lights at night when it wasn't foggy was just in a bad mood. And i've heard other guys going through california that they'll write tickets if your offroad lights aren't covered when on the road. i just hope it never happens to any of us.

    Oregon has been the worse for me. the guy that pulled me over there told me to go back to CA after i already told him i dont live there anymore and that im stationed in WA. Yeah i hope that doesnt happen either. OR and CA tickets are stupid expensive! my WA ticket was only $90 haha.
