That great, sounds like a good product.
I've also had contact with the customer service dept via e-mails and they too have been very helpful.

Has anyone installed the Pop and Lock Power Tailgate lock in a new truck that has the back up camera? How was the installation?

Hey guys, anyone tried removing the fold-a-cover sticker? If so, did it cause damages at all? For those who didn't, does it look doable? That's the only thing holding me back on purchasing this. I'm looking for a clean look. Thanks.

Just an fyi, had my cover for maybe 1.5 years and the 3rd fold rubber seal peeling off and water leaks from there. Gonna try and use a roof seal or spray seal to fix it. The original way to fix it seems way to differcult and I would probably break something. :(

Thanks for sharing. Any pics you can share? Is yours Elite or LS? I hope you manage to fix it. There must be warranty on it since you haven't had it that long. On their site it says two years. The flaws of a fold cover got me thinking about a one piece as well, but then again there are cons to that as well.

It's raining today but I'll post some pictures in a few days if it clears up. It's an elite and the two year covers only from the main manufacturer, as stated on their site.

Tried to use some liquid glue and it didn't work so now I'll try super glue, and paint it with this stuff.

:( You are likely aware of the replacement parts available and I can see how removing that weather strip out may cause damage if not careful. I'm now wondering how to remove the strip if need be if I get in this situation. Maybe using a hair dryer to loosen it up then use adhesive remover perhaps? Thanks for sharing once again.

There is a video online but 100% likely I would damaged the cover by just replacing the seal. I decided to seal the underside because the water would run to the front and back only, and not directly in the middle of the bed.

^^^ Kinda sucks that your cover is leaking. I've had mine going on 2.5 yrs and not one issue. Makes me wonder if the dry Arizona weather is causing the dry rot issue which is common in dry conditions.

The Fold-a-Cover is not a tri fold, but if interested check http://www.foldacoverfactorystore.com/ and plug in your vehicle information to purchase. There are other cover options of course.

I installed my G4 Elite about a week ago. Install was a bit of a pain in the ass compared to other covers, but it's done all the same. I also installed a powered Pop and lock on the tailgate which works great to fully secure my bed. One thing I've discovered is that with the powered pop-n-lock, I'm just using the tailgate as my point of entry into the bed due to the convenience of being able to just unlock it with my remote rather than having to mess around with a key to open the front or back of the G4. If the G4 had a powered lock option, I'd definetly install it and likely used all three points of entry more, but for now, I kinda feel like I should have saved the money and gone with a cheaper cover. Looks good all the same and when I do fiddle the key to open the front or back, it's a very satisfying open and close with those high quality latches. One other note. I installed the tailgate weatherstripping they included and it's a very good product. Had to do a bit of routing and trimming to make it fully sealed, but there isn't a drop of water getting into the bed. If you install one, I recommend taking some of the excess and installing it on the front of the cover as well from the bed rails down on the top edge of the bed. I installed about an 8" strip on both sides and after a full day of rain, my bed is watertight. Off on a 10 day backcountry camping trip tomorrow with the family all piling into the truck, looking forward to ten days out of cell reception. Have a good summer!image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg image.jpg image.jpgimage.jpg

You say you could have saved money by going cheaper. The main reason I want this cover is the ability to expose 75% of the bed without hindering rear view. Is the only inconvenience the fact you have to use a key to lock/unlock the cover? Thanks for the in depth review and info on installing.

There isn't a cover that come close to it. My personal use is 25% open in the front for fishing poles or open 75% rear to load things in. Also fits a bed extender underneath. The water leaks in mine now but I have other containers in the back and there isn't anything I'm to worry about getting wet. The locks still works just fine.
