Convincing your wife to spend more money on your truck. How?

Just an FYI also you can sell your Front stock TRD coilovers for around $100. I just sold mine from a 2007 Tacoma with 75,xxx miles when I took them off for $100 on craigslist I had them posted at $125.

 

You could knock her on her heels, by telling her that you want a full Icon setup, and then let her of the hook, by compromising, and settling for the 5100's/Eibach setup.

 

I was doing that stuff before he flopped in real estate and figured out how to dig out of his hole.

I avoided the hole by learning from my folks, who learned from theirs. Both sides actually. And marrying a woman with very similar views on how to handle finances.

So yea, I am a fan. I'm glad he has the platform he does to speak common sense to folks who realize they are not doing so hot on their own.

 

Tell her your Doctor only gave you two years to live and the suspension upgrade is on your bucket list.

Balance, my friend. Stay within your means. Be supportive of her projects, and she will be with yours. If that doesn't work, I like the buy, install, then let her find out method that snowtank mentioned lol.
