    Hey TW,

Dumb question - I have a DCSB and picked up a snugpro not too long ago - love it. I've noticed a weird noise lately and am wondering if anyone has any experience/solutions.

When I drive solo, or with just me and the wife in the front seats, no noise. However, when one or two people sit in the back up my truck, and I go over bumps, it sounds like the rubber seal on the bottom of the camper is making a squeaking noise. Unload the truck again, no noise. I'm baffled/surprised that 2-300 lbs in the back of my cab could cause the shell rubber to make a noise?

Anyone have any experience with this?:confused::confused:

Maybe it's your leaf springs that are making the squeak when loaded and under pressure.

Sure it's not something under or behind the rear seats ?

Could be - my springs squeak already, but usually only over speed bumps and stuff. That might be the culprit.

I don't have anything behind my seats or in those bins, aside from the stock stuff, but I'll double check.

Check cab to cap clearance, might be the cap rubbing on the cab.

99% sure that's not the issue - it sound like rubber creaking, and I don't see any wear near the rear light. But I'm double check anyway! Thanks!

I'd be checking the bottom corners not the top, if your clear there,
next question, did you buy new or used?
If used did you replace the foam tape on the sides where it sits on the bed rails?

I purchased used - and did not replace the foam tape. I didn't figure that to be an issue, but definitely makes sense. I replaced all the rubber around the doors, but didn't do anything with the bed rail rubber.
